Clubbing Together In Support Of Charity
January 28th 2011.
Pennaf Premier Directors Peter Burnett, Ryan Jones, Sean Holley along with help from JPR Williams, Mark Jones and the one and only Smudge held a charity night at the Trefelin Club in Port Talbot. The night was in aid of the Captains' Climb of Mount Kilinmanjaro where Robert Jones MBE was the chosen Captain for this event.
This was the first event of it's type held at the newly refurbished Trefelin Club where all the regulars and staff pulled together to put on a superb evening. The event raised over £1,500 for the Stepping Stones Appeal Charity.
Kristian O'Leary Joins Pennaf Premier
February 22nd 2011.
Kristian O'Leary, professional footballer with Swansea City for over 10 years, now playing for Neath in the Welsh Premiership has joined Pennaf Premier in a consulting role. Kristian, like many professional sportsmen, sought to prepare for life after football and got involved with UK and Overseas Property Investment some time ago, gaining valuable experience in this ever changing market.
After building his own investment portfolio and learning new skills along the way, Kristian decided to team up with Pennaf Premier taking advantage of our investment platform and helping to introduce new business.
Peter Burnett, Managing Director of Pennaf Premier said, "We're very happy about Kristian coming to join us. Both Pennaf Premier and Kristian O'Leary bring a lot to the table in terms of UK and Overseas Investment, we're already in advanced talks about securing some major investment opportunities in the UK"
Pennaf Premier Visit Cyprus #1
March 10th 2011.
Not many people know of our affiliation with the beautiful island of Cyprus, so when we say “Cyprus Visit”, some may think we’ve been on a jolly. (OK, for some of us, it wasn’t a typical work week!)
Peter Burnett, Stephen Turner, Karen Jones (our new Group Senior Manager), Edo Velthuis and Darren Dobbs (our photographer and all round nice guy) were tasked with a heap of stuff relating to overseas investments and marketing. For many of us, it was our first visit to Cyprus, so our excitement about visiting a new place was high.
As well as have the opportunity to meet our colleagues from Pennaf Premier Cyprus, we had a first class education on the history of Cyprus (thanks Yiannis!), the most beautiful places to visit, and of course, the chance to visit the developments we’ve been helping to market.
A stunning natural bridge at Cape Greko
We attended meetings with development companies in Larnaca, Protaras, Aiya Napa and Nicosia to discuss various projects we’re working on, whilst Darren and Edo went out to capture the photographs that will make up the marketing material for those projects.
We visited developments in various stages of completion, from barely out of the ground, to completely finished, from centre of town, to right on the beach, from commercial to residential... One thing was consistent during the whole exercise; the quality of the developments was amazing! Cyprus really is a very cosmopolitan country, with good taste to suit. Architecture is mostly modern, but we found some beautiful traditional buildings to photograph too.
Here are some of our favourite pictures from our visit!

Pennaf Premier Recruits Group Senior Manager
March 14th 2011.
Following a busy year at Pennaf Premier Group, the need for a hands-on, senior manager
became apparent setting us off in search of the perfect all rounder. We found our
candidate running a family business, looking for a fresh challenge. Karen Jones joined
Pennaf Premier on the day we left for Cyprus so what better way to start a new job
than by jetting off to a warm and sunny Mediterranean island? We asked Karen a few
questions about joining the company...
Karen, welcome to Pennaf Premier. After your first week in the job, what are your
first impressions of our company? My first impression of Pennaf Premier is that it
is an exciting firm going through an exciting time. There seem to be so many aspects
of the business coming together all simultaneously at the moment that I couldn’t
think of a better time to become part of the team.
On you first day, you joined us on a business trip to Cyprus, how was that? As
far as starting in Cyprus, I dare anyone to think of a nicer way to start a new job
– FAB! It was definitely the best way to gain a good knowledge of the overseas investment
that Pennaf Premier is involved in, and a great way to get to know the Pennaf Premier
team and all their Cypriot associates.
Tell us a little about what you did prior to joining Pennaf Premier… Prior to joining
Pennaf Premier I ran a bathroom business (showroom, office and fitting team) called
“Tollgate Bathrooms” in Margam, Port Talbot. It is a family business and I helped
start the business back in 2001 when I left Swansea University. It was difficult
to leave a company that I had helped grow and care very much about, however the time
came for a new challenge.
You’re Group Senior Manager, what does your job entail?
Group Senior Manger – sounds posh doesn’t it (ha ha) – My job is to oversee all aspects
of the Pennaf Premier Group in order to help the Group operate more efficiently as
a whole (deal with any everyday problems, keep all concerned up to date with developments
throughout the group, allow our MD to have the space to concentrate his time on the
big projects, etc)
If you could see into the future, where would you see yourself within this company
a year from now?
A year from now I would like to see myself still here, working hard and helping Pennaf
Premier (in my own small way) to continue to function well within every department
on an everyday basis, and also to continue to be involved in bigger and better things.
